SIR JOSEPH WARD AT THAMES. By Telegraph—Press Association, Thames, Last Night. Sir Joseph Ward addressed a crowded meeting in King's Theatre to-night and received a splendid hearing. His speech was on the lines of other? i»c- la* delivered in different parts of the country referring L; the suggested electoral reform for cities, he said people should know at once what was proposed. At the conclusion of the speech -Sir Joseph Ward veeeiyed an ovation, and a resolution was carried as follows:—"That this meeting of inhabitants »f Thames thanks Sir Joseph Ward for ils interesting and instructive address, and expresses its confidence in him as leader of the Liberal party in New Zealand, and trusts that lie will secure a majority at next election. "
