In the Police Court, William Tynan was charged with the attempted murder of his daughter Evelyn, whom lie waylaid when she was leaving school and cut her throat with n razor. Prisoner sat through the proceedings unconcernedly, as liaving apparently only a spectator's interest in the evidence, though occasionally he displayed signs of nervous stress. Detective McMahon stated that prisoner when arrested expressed a desire to be hanged witliout delay.
