Mr. Bowakill, the missionary who was airrested by the Portuguese in April, in a letter to the Baptist Missionary Society, states that his native helpers are still imprisoned without trial. They were closely confined for five days without food or waiter. Portuguese soldiers burnt the mative villages and the misaioa dmpels built by native converts.
