EXPRESS TRAIN COLLIDES WITH ENGINE. By Cafcle—Press Association—Copyright Paris, May 24. . The P. and O. boat train from Marseilles was travelling at fifty miles an hour and was timed to stop at Macon but the brakes failed and it dashed through the station and collided with a shunting engine, which overturned and was thrown clear. The express jumped the mils for ten yards but regained the metala The guard's van next to tihe engine was smashed. The passengers suffered from shock, but nobody was seriously injured.
