By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, May 22. Empire Day was celebrated by 550,000 London school children. The Lord Mayor iiddressud a thousand of them at the Guildhall.
I Received 25, 1:2.55 a.m. London, May 24. Six thousand attended the Empire Day celebrations at Hyde Park. The weather was unfavorable. The, Earl of Heath took the salute in Earl Roberts' absence. The Church. Boys' Brigade represented the League of Empire, and carried the overseas flags. Sir George Reid and Hon. TJios. Mackenzie were present. The Victoria, League placed a wreath, bearing the names of over- I seas branches, on Queen Victoria's memorial.
