SIR JOSEPH WARD AT NAPIER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Monday. Sir Joseph Ward delivered a political address to a packed audience 'in the Municipal Theatre to-night. Tlfc Leader of the Opposition received a flattering ovation on rising to speak. For : two hours he criticised the present administration and explained the policy of the Liberal Party. He enumerated the promises of the Reform Party, pointing out that very few had been carried out and that the balance were, to receive attention at the next session. If the promises were kept next session it would last for fifteen months. Sir Joseph received ji good hearing, nmd was frequently applauded. At the close a motion of thanks and confidence in the Liberal Party was carried amidst loud applause and cheers.
