[WELLINGTON EXPORT COMPANY'S EXPANSION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Marton, Last Night. A largely attended meeting of farmers and residents of Marton to-day unanimously accepted the proposal of the Wellington Meat Export Co. to erect supplementary works, providing that 10,000 shares were allotted to settlers of the district. A proviso was added that the works be erected upon the most iwuitablc eite between Kakuriki and Marton 'Junction. A strong canvassing committee was elected to canvass the district for support. >
