The Baily Mail's Tokio correspondent says that the Japanese doubts concerning British enthusiasm for the Alliance arc renewed by General' Hamilton's speech, referring to the Pacific as a possible battlefield between Asiatics and European*, »nd Count Okuma's declaration has not removed the uneasiness. The Nieliinichi declares that Japan must warn other Asiatics of the fearful consequence* of the white man's prejudice and hi* unrighteous attitude.
