MAKETAWA. (Fretyi Our Own Correspondent.) Quite a shook was experienced amongst a large number in the Moa district when |t became known that Mrs William Oorney, of Norfolk road, had succumbed to . the insidious complaint, Bright's disease. ijm£uv deceased lady, who was a daughter f \j3t the late Mr A. Earle, of Surrey road, had resided in the district all her life. Having taken deep interest in all kinds of social work while on Durham road and, later, on Norfolk road), the deceased lady made many friends, and there is no doubt her assistance at srich functions will be greatly missed- Mr Corney and the large family left to mourn their loss, have the sincere sympathy of a very large number Of residents. The funeral, •which took place on Tuesday, was largely attended, \
