FISHERMEN IN TROUBLE. By Te'egraph —Press Association. Napier, Monday. There was a »torm in fishing circles on Saturday as the result of the Customs officers confiscating the nets of ten trawlers, owing to the size of the mesh not complying with the regulations. The seizure might havo resulted in considerable hardship to the owners, but the Secretary of the Marine De. partment on being communicated with telegraphed instructions to the Collector of Customs to return the nets and give permission for their use pending further instructions. Prosecutions will probably follow.
