Viiiieut Sharp, relieving oflicer to the Ilunslet Board of fluardiuns, disappeared simultaneously with two girls named Sedman and Walker, from Leeds. Both giils' liawes appear in the paslist of the Marathon, which i-ailu! for Australia a week ago. It is stated that Sedman is a well-known suffragette. Mrs. Sharp, befuro lier marriage, resigned a post worth £2OO ft year. The emigration authorities are satisfied with Walker's bona fides, she was nominated from Sydney. It is alleged that Sharp, under the name of Simpson, was a passenger by the Marathon.
