Jonas Masters (Mr. Lawrey), an action originally commenced in the Magistrate's Court at Stratford and moved into the Supreme Court by the defendant; claim for £l9."> Ids alleged to be purchase money received by the defendant to the use of plaintiff. Defendant counter-claims on a first cause of action for £lßo,lfis 3d, or alternatively he claims that an account be taken of all moneys received by the plaintiff in respect to sv certain contract done; a second cause of action £lßl 8s 7d in connection with the sale of a contracting plant; a third cause of action £2O money lent; and fourth, £24 paid to the New Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Office.
