Mrs. Cooke, of Chrislchurch, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Moyes. Mrs. F. Robertson, who have been visiting her sister, Mrs. J. Morton, at Napier, has returned. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Samuel are due back in Auckland on Jime 2. They arc coining by the Niagara from Honolulu. Writing to friends, they state, that they have had a very enjoyable time in -Japan, which they found very different from tile Japan they visited seven' years ago.
