CARRIAGE OF EXPLOSIVES.
A ROYAL COMMISSION. By Telegr.aph—Press Association. Wellington' Ye3terdny. The following have been appointed a Royal Commission to report upon the care and carriage of explosives in the Dominion: Mr. Holines\ engineer-in-chief; Lieutenant Elmslic, of H.M.S. Pyschc; and Captain Edwards, of the anmy staff; to report by July 31. The commission has nothing to do with the Hutt disaster, as it was lirst mooted a year ago. A number of questions have been under discussion for some t me, including the "location of the magazine 14 miles from Auckland in the Ha.uro.ki Gulf, and the carriage of explosives on motor lorries.
