ABOLISHING TIPPING. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright Received 14, 9.40 pm. • Ottawa, May 14. The Senate considered Mr Davis' Bill to abolish tipping. Mr Davis declared that waiters and waitresses throughout the country favored the Bill. Mr Choquette declared that the Bill was unworkable. Mr Boycr questioned whether Parliament added to its dignity by considering such a measure. It was impossible to enforce such a law. The Bill passed its second reading, with a provision omitting servants in private houses.
