The Taranaki Provincial Conference of the X.Z. Farmers' Union is to be held at Patea on Hay 21. Cow Testing.—Executive: ''That the Minister of Agriculture be requ:':-ted to .introduce the semi-official testing of grade cows and at a lesser fee than that charged for purebreds." ilotor Traffic.—Executive: ''That owing to the great change in the means of transit brought about by the general use of motor traction, there be strongly urged 011 the Government the necessity of increasing the subsidy to- local bodies for the formation and maintenance of main roads, such subsidy to be granted only in proportion to 'expenditure incurred."

Imperialism.—Hawera: ''That it he a recommendation to t'lie Government that it requisition the Imperial Government to form an Imperial Council upon which it shall have its representative, such Council to he superior to the' British Parliament.''
