Mr. Roosevelt and his party are much annoyed at Sir Clement Markham's scepticism as to Mr. Roosevelt's discovery of a new river in Brazil. Members scid he might as well question the existence of the Rhine or tlic Hudson.
It is alleged thai the ''new river" find was engineered by local people.
