REFEREES' ASSOCIATION". NORTHERN DIVISION MEETING. The annual meeting of the Northern Committee of the Taranaki Referees' Association was held at the office of the secretary, Mr A. K. Smart, last night, when there were present: Messrs W. Roch, O. W. West, J. Johnson, 11. Petty, and A. K. Smart Mr West presided. An apology was received from Mr F. Spurdle. The 'balance-sheet showed a debit of IBs on the year's working. It was stated, however, that a donation could be obtained from the Central Executive, which would more than liquidate the debt.

Considerable discussion took place concerning the dearth of referees available, The opinion was expressed that the position would be better this year.

Messrs R. Larsen (Okato), E. D. Good, R. Sinclair and F. Roberts (New Plymouth) were proposed for active membership, and were accepted subject to passing the usual examination. Messrs G. Griffiths and H. Petty were appointed delegates to the Taranaki Referees' Association. After making appointments for this week the meeting adjourned until next Monday evening, when officers, etc., will foe elected..

The following players will represent Inglcwood first juniors on Thursday at Stratford at 3 p.m.:—G. Miles, llucker, Gilbert, D. Fraser, I<\ Miller, IT. Kerr, Wliting, Hore Rangi, Epatu, llane, i\ Schrieder, T. Ready, A. Julian, W. Raynor, Carter, S. Clarke, D. Laing, J. Burr, Roach and R. Karalus. Inglcwood senior team:—Etu, J. Kara.lus, G. Karalus, L. Jury, G. Nicholls', Farrley, L. Russell, W. Orr. T. Schrieder ¥. Nicholls, A. Ohong, W. Raynor, C. iSutzen, P. Chapman, S. George, L. Olson, A. Smith and 0. lioldt.-' The game will be played at Inglcwood on Saturday next, play starting at 3 p.m.
