The Town I Tall was packed by 7.81>, and by 8 o'clock the crowding was donv. There must have been a thousand people in the building when the appointed lionr arrived. Mr. Wilford delivered a forceful and spirited addresß, which was followed with great enthusiasm. He essayed the task of exposing the methods of ''Reform," and he did so in ft manner whi--!i evoked considerable enthusiasm. lb 1 spoke for over two hours, and the audience was anxious .for him to continue but owing to the great strain he an i the other members of the "Hying squadron" are undergoing in their heavy li-t of engagements, be was unable to extend his remarks. At the eLose of the address the cheers were loud and prolonged. A motion, proposed by Mr. Kin;;, thanking him for his interesting address, and hoping that the Liberal Party would be in power after the next election, was carried almost unanimously. On the call of Mr. Wilford lor cheers for the Liberal Party, the audience rose in their seats, and the heartiness of the cheers was a nattering testimony to the popularity of the Liberal Party, and to the bi.nelieiul ell'ect of Stratford air or the lung-power of the people. Chatting to a Daily News Teporte.r after the meeting, Mr. Wilford said: "I don't know how to describe it. It was a triumph! I've never aeeu anything like it, and I've been at the game for twenty years." Mr. Wilford was immensely pleased with his .reception. He has been invited to give addresses in many other centres. The cause of the Libemls was considerably advanced, and the people were treated to many interesting side lights on "Reform." Among those who assembled to hear his shafts were Messrs J.
