FEDERATION OF LABOR.
ITS POSITION IN POLITICS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Mr. Parry, organiser for thto United Federation of Labor, states that he lias received a telegram from the secretary of that organisation, stating that the executive had unanimously agreed to act on the request of the conference recently held in Wellington, and to call a conference of all union> for July 7th, with the object of deciding on a common line of action politically, and to .discuss and act, if so deciding, in the direction of becoming affiliated with the I Australian Labor Federation. The Onit|ed Federation of Labor. Mr. Parry states, will now set vigorously to work in an effort to ensure the success of the conference.
