UPPER HUTT EXPLOSION.
THE EIGHTH VICTIM. B ,r Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. An inquest was held to-day concerning the death of Virgil Mc'Gove.rii, the eighth victim of the Upper Hutt fire and explosion on March 29th. Coroner Riddell returned a verdict that the deceased died from injuries received from an explosion of gelignite in Benge and Pratt's store at Upper Hutt.
