ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Te Henui Anglican Church last vicar (How A. 11. Colvile) a good attendace o£ parishioners.. AXN'UAL MEETING. The annual report of the committee, after referring to the departure from Uio district of the Hev. J. A. Kempthorne after four years' good work, and to the work done by tiie Rev G. X. Robso'i, who had been temporarily in charge, stated that the introduction of the kindergarten system into the Sunday School had been productive of good results. The need for a male teacher was also mentioned. Church improvements had been carried out to the extent of a lew entrance gate and further ventilation. Tlio coat of these had been defrayed by the ladies' guild, who contributed £7 17s to the general funds. The balance-sheet showed a debjt balance of £25 (due to St. Mary's Vestry). General offertories showed an jncrease of 14s lOd, but the parish fund subscriptions had been de creased by £8 7s, the total received be ing. £ll 3s. Regarding the lack of a curate in charge of the district, the Rev. A. H. Colviie explained that he had made arrangements for the llev. 11. If. Bedford t» take charge, but later had been foreed to release him from his engagement. He had been endeavoring unsuccessfully to secure a successor to Mr. Kempthon» as he fully realised the seriousness of th» position. I

ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Vicar's warden, Mr. I. Aroa; people's warden, Mr. K S. Wilson; committee, Messrs A..H.Steed*, 1L J. Johnson, W. O'Callaghan, E. In"Yy, and M. J. Armstrong, with power to add'.
