ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Te Henui Anglican Church last vicar (How A. 11. Colvile) a good attendace o£ parishioners.. AXN'UAL MEETING. The need for a male teacher was also mentioned. Church improvements had been carried out to the extent of a lew entrance gate and further ventilation. Tlio coat of these had been defrayed by the ladies' guild, who contributed £7 17s to the general funds. The balance-sheet showed a debjt balance of £25 (due to St. Mary's Vestry). General offertories showed an jncrease of 14s lOd, but the parish fund subscriptions had been de creased by £8 7s, the total received be ing. £ll 3s. Regarding the lack of a curate in charge of the district, the Rev. A. H. Colviie explained that he had made arrangements for the llev. 11. If. Bedford t» take charge, but later had been foreed to release him from his engagement.
