CAMtikIXG ON' kICIiNSKD PREMISES. Clrcymouth, Last Night. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, Robert Knight?, licensee of the Trafalgar Hotel, was charged with allowing gambling on bis premises. A constaWe, seeing a light iu the bar at 3.45 a.m. on Friday, made investigations. He entered by the top storey and came downstairs. He found the defendant in a room watching three men playing "snap poker," and money on the table. A conviction was recorded, with a fine of £7. The license was not endorsed, as the players were all boarders, and this was a first offence.
