THE FLYING SQUADRON. Messrs T. M. Wilford, H. Atmore, G. W. Forbes, L. M. Isitt, G. Witty and 11 W. Smith, six members of the Liberal party, are paying a flying visit to Taranaki in support of the Opposition campaign at the forth-coming election. They will open at Normanby and Opunake on Wednesday next, and the tour will conclude at Waitara and New Plymouth on Tuesday, May 5. The itinerary and speakers are published in our advertising columns.
Mr. J. M. Dickson, of PortoMlo, will again contest the Port Chalmera seat in the "Reform" party's interests. The Hon. W. H. Herries is starting a weeks tour of Otago and Southland, leaving Dunedin on Tuesday. Sir Joseph Ward speaks at Queenstown on Monday, and at Mosgiel on Thursday.
