WOULD REVOLUTIONISE MINING.
IN A LUNATIC ASYLUM NOW.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A young man who arrived by the Corinthic from London on Monday had intended to go to the West Coast full of the intention to revolutionise the System of mining in vogue. He proposed to shoot the coal out of the seams with bullets from a rifle. The police became interested in the man's project, with the result that he is now detainee! in a mental hospital. He will probably be treated as an undesirable immigrant and deported.
