Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday our pens were filled with birds of all classes. Prices are on the rise and are likely to continue from now on. Furniture. —On Wednesday last we held a clearing sale of all the house furniture and effects on account «rf the estate of tine late Mrs. T. White. There was a large attendance of the public and each line offered met with a ready gale.
During the -week fruit has come forward in fair supply. Prices ire starting to harden and will continue to do so.
