The Opunake Times states that the Rev. Father Menard. h.M., -ins received notice of transfer from Opunake to Boulcott street. Wellington. The Rev. Father Harnett has been appointed to succeed him.
The death is reported of Mr. Henry King, fon many yeans a resident of flawera. He leaves a widow and grown up family—Mrs. Uunthorpc, now resident in South Africa; Mrs. J. D. Synie, Mrs. P. M. Pratt, Miss King, and Mr. S. W. King.
