REVISING JURY LISTS.

AUCKLAND POLICE METHODS DISAPPROVED.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Yesterday. The jury Revision Court decided that owing to the irregular, incomplete and unsatisfactory manner in which the lists had been prepared the court was unable to revise them within the time mentioned in the Act. The bench made a number of suggestions for the amendment of the Act, including the raising of the age of jurors from 21 to 25 years, and with regard to the methods of preparing the lists. The effect of the court decision is that the old jury list will remain in force.

It was shown in earlier proceedings that the revision was actually made by polico under-stvappers, the inspector not 'even knowing why names were struck oil' the list by detectives or constables.
