After a motion was passed to the effect that in view of the distance separating New Zealand from the Motherland direct representation would five inadequate returns; that the conference was of opinion that a delegation from the Home office to travel at intervals of not less than five years to various overseas districts would achieve far hotter results than if one delegate from New Zealand were to attend a conference such a distance,
