THE MAGISTERIAL ENQUIRY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Paris, April 10. At the magisterial inquiry, M. Vidal, publicist, confirmed the statement that the Figara intended to publish three of M. Oaillaux's letters. He added that M. Oalmette was seeking evidence of M. Caillaux's connection with the case of Prieu, the South American millionaire, whose heirs were claiming his estate from the French Government. M. Calmette alleged that M. Caillaux offered the heirs part if they agreed to M. Caillaux taking the remainder of the estate.
[ EVIDENCE DENIED. Received 13, 10.45 p.m. Paris, April 12. M. Caillaux's first wife denied Princess Estradere's evidence. She had not communicated the letters or documents to Calmette.
