"DEVILISH WORK."
A SUFFRAGETTE SCENE IN COURT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, April 13. A suffragette who had been arrested for doing damage at the British Museum, hurled a folded newspaper at the Magistrate, and interrupted the proceedings by screaming, shouting and denouncing Mr. McKenna's devilish work. The hearing was thrice brought to a standstill. The prisoner was ordered back to the cells finally and committed.
