The Minister was much interested in the idea, and asked if lie might present the regiment witli one. The General accepted the oiler, am! at a represenative gathering of all ranks of the regiment at the OHieers" Club yesterday afternoon, the portrait I was banded over to Col. liloomlield lor the regiment by the Governor.
