ADVISORY SENATE SCHEME SHELVED.

Mr. McKcnna, Home Secretary, in reply to Mr. Ndrton-Griffiths, said the Government did not intend to deal with the matter of the proposed Imperial Advisory Senate at the next Imperial Conference. The Government's more immediately practical proposals regarding the dominions' representation on the Defence Committee were generally accepted by the dominions.
