ME. MERRIES IX THE NORTH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dargaviile, Last Night. The Hon. W. H. Merries atid party visited Kaihit on Tuesday and wets, cordially received. The. Minister dealt with different deputations. lie was much interested in the timber industry, and greatly admired the rich pasture land of the district. He returned to Dargaviile this afternoon to lay the foundation stone of the new post ollice ' to-morrow afternoon.
