At a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Exhibition, the secretary ro> ported that the total receipts to date hud been ,C72, - 25ti, and the total expenditure £63.537, leaving a credit balance of •CS7li). The president said there were a number of liabilities to set against Unbalance. Probably £5501) would cover them. It would be impossible to give a balance-sheet until, the Exhibition was closed. It was certain that the guarantors would not be called upon for anything. As to the surplus, it would depend entirely on the amount realised for the buildings, which had cost the executive £25,000.
