In accordance with the recommendation of the Post and Telegraph Officer-. : Association, the Public Service Commissioners have agreed to create the following new positions:—Senior mail ela-n at Palinerston North; assistant parceU clerks Christchurch and Duneiliii; parcels clerks Invereargill and Waiigaiiui: parcels accounts clerks Auckland .tnd Wellington; delivery clerk Dunediii; stamps clerks Auckland and Wellington: assistant clerks in charge of letter-cur-riers Auckland, Ohristehurch and Wellington: second money-order and savin:;; bank clerks Timarit, (".'ishorne, and Xc.v Plymouth; and senior telegraphists r. Hamilton, Hastings and Mastertou. The Commissioners also indicated th.- ; r approval of the recommendation th:.t the following positions he raised •, grade:—Foreign mail clerk. Auckland: senior clerk Chief Post Office, Auclclau I: senior naroels clerks at Christchurch an,l Dunedin: and senior despatch clerks ;ii Auckland.
