Durazzo, April 3.
A party of Epirotes and Macedonians entered Koritza by stealth and attacked the Albanians. The gendarmerie was helpless, owing to Major Rueller, the Dutch Commander, being seriously wounded. The fall of Koritza is expected hourly. A TALE OF HORROR. MURDER AND RAPINE. Received 5, 5.5 p.m. Vienna, April 4. Advices from Valona state that the Epirote bands include a number of Greek officers and soldierß, and possess guns and quick-firers. The Albanische Correspond'enz states that Koritza is in flames, and bands of Greeks are plundering and burning, and killing. Many of the inhabitants were incinerated in their homes. Advices from Rome declare that the attack on Koritza was repulsed.
