The jirsmial- lieiicrnl meeting of the Wairoa I'ingby football Nub-Union w.is held at Wavci'ley last, week.
The report of the past year was presented and disclosed a very satisfactory year, despite the many little difiieuities attendant upon the formation and first year of a new union. Two representative games were played with Wanganni anil Tarmiaki and were .both losl. The Union, however, looks for more success in its matches Ibis year. The balance-sheet showed a credit of &ii Ss (id.
The election of ofliccrs resulted as follows:—President, Mr. K. P. Synies (re-elected); committee, of management, Messrs V. McDonald. A. Sneil. Fowler, L. Viiilay. and the YVaitotara nominee; auditor, .Mr. 11. W. .Tames.
