The British Nationality Bill has passed through committee, in the House of Lords. AUSTRALIAN BEEP. London, March 20. In tlie House of Commons, Mr. Samuel 'stated that in a consignment of 398 bullocks from B. R. Richards & Sons, Sydney, which bore the Commonwealth certificate} 12.3 per cent, contained worm nests. Mr. Samuel added that the certificates in nowise exempted meat from examination in Britain. THE ORSOVA AND SMALLPOX. I Sydney, March 27. The Orsova has arrived, and has been quarantined and fumigated. The pas- ! sengeTs are required to stay in qtiaranj tine until fourteen days after successful vaccination. There is one case of smallpox at Newcastle.
