Tlio match between the Australians and Manawntu was commenced on the sports ground this afternoon shortly after 3 o'clock in threatening weather, with cold easterly wind blowing. Manawatu, who batted fifteen men, went to the wickets, and when stumps were drawn were all out for 170, after an innings which lasted 3 hours and 20 minutes.
