SOUTH AFRICAN LABOR LEADER MAKES CANDID CONFESSION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, March 23. Kendall, organiser of the Amalgamated Society of Engineers, whose extradition it is reported the South African Government intend to apply for, addressed a meeting in the Socialists' Hall. He said it had been demonstrated by industrial action that they could hope, in South Africa at any rate, to come into their ownt shortly. They bad the workers educated up to intermittent strikes, also to, sabotage. Personally he agreed with the latter. An industrial strike was. really war, and every possible means must be employed. He was not averse to murdering a scab. He hoped th<i Government would not extradite him. He bad eonformed to the laws so far. Ho did not know if he would; always conform, because lie was a rebel at heart. He would in all probability become a rebel in this country, but the Government must leave, him alone until he violated the laws,
THE LABOR VICTORY, Capetown, March 22. The real explanation of the Labor victories on the Rand is the rapid growth of the syndicalist propaganda. The immediate result is that the geneial elections have been postponed till 1015.
