NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS. The finals for the -championships of the New Plymouth Tennis .Club were played on Saturday afternoon. In tli ( . men's division C. Webster met .1. C Nicholson, and was defeated rather easily in two straight sets, 6—o, 6—l, Miss Brewster met Miss Rundle ia the Indies' division, and a good mate* i resulted, Miss Brewster winning two straight sets, 7—5, 6—3. ( WAITARA v. PARK. Representatives of the Waitara Club visited the Park Club on Saturday afternoon. The southerly Jvind affected the play somewhat; still, a. pleasant afternoon was spent.
