MAN SHOOTS AT HIS WIFE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Duncdin, Last "ight. George Havelock Green, who va3 arrested at Auckland about three weeks ago, on a charge of disol-evjno an order for the maintenance of his wife and children, and brought to Duncdin, went rlown to Sawyer's Bay thi* afternoon, where his wife is engaged es housekeeper to Mr Perry, currier. He called ,at the house at about 3.30, and apparently, fired two or three shots at her,
all of which took effect about the neckor shoulders. Green walked to Port Chalmers, where he was arrested bv Constable O'Shea at about 4 p.ni. Mrs Green was attended by Dr. Borrie, of Port Chalmers, but from what little can be gathered at present, it does not appear that the wounds are critical.
