-A large audience assembled.' at it* theatre last night to enjov the Roval picture carnival, and judrin* by the frequent applause the programme mail have satisfied the taste of every patron. The star feature, "The Midnight Message," deserves special mention, being a powerful and refined drama. The atorr is carefully treated, un& the acting snperb. Animal intelligence was greatlT • displayed in the drama "Black Beauty? j by the Kalem's olever horse. The seedo portion was well sustained with a beau-tifully-colored film of the woods and lake of Vincennes and a fete at Aiiflkor. "Several other excellent release* are included in the programme, the flnait lieing a very quaint and laughable laundry episode, with the strain of "Tho Lassie from Lancashire" aa an appropriate accompaniment bv the pianist.
