ROYAL PICTURES. J The principal attraction at the The- ' atre Royal last night was an exceptionally strong Lubin drama, entitled "Partners in Crinie." The story of Jekyll and Hyde_ is woven round the life of two prominent and highly-respected members of society, who ace,the chief spirits in .a dangerous gang of motor bandits who terrorise the neighborhood. How they manage to .escape detection so long, and the manner of their ultimate unmasking, aio matters which are be3t told on the film. The picture is realistically, portrayed in A ..strong setting, by a well-assorted cast. "A Doll for Baby" is a pretty little story of, a. pretty little girl, told in- a simple manner which appealed to every meinbeT of the audience. There are some fino, views of the rose carnival at Christclmrch, cand "Beauty in a Sea Sea Shell" isi a, comedy on new lines both quaint and queer. Gaiimont'i Weekly Graphic is as interesting a*d instructive as, usual, and a number of other high-claßs . comedies, scenics, and dramas go to make up a fine programme, whiijh wiU bi> repeated to-night and tomorrow night.

' IRISH NATIONAL' CONCERT. The anniversary of the birth of St. Patrick, Ireland's patron saint, will be oelebrated to-night in the Rnlland Kail by the-Irish national concert. The programme appears in our advertising i,oliinjfis this.morning, and it certainly comprises an excellent gathering <Si talent. Irish songs will be a feature, and there ,can be no doubt of the charm of many of the numbers to be submitted by oapable artists.
