Mr. Cook, speaking at Samtringliam, said he considered Mr. Hoi man's figures concerning the light taxation of New South Wales a piece of sheer political effrontery_ ■ "There never was a more liollow moeKery,"' continued Mr. Cook, "than to assert that three years of Labor rule- has given us industrial peace. Labor rule has been signalised by a fratricidal policy of striking ami the creation of class hatred, which is increasing in this State to-day. This feeling has and will reduce the effectiveness of working men's wages."
