LAWN TENNIS.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The semi-finals in the New Plymouth Lawn Tennis club's handicap events have now been completed. Following are the results:— A GRADE. Miss L. Thomson beat M'l93 Bedford; E. W. Griffiths beat T. Simpson. B GRADE. Miss Stephenson beat Miss Kohn; E. Cntficld beat E. Davis. FINALS. The finals will be. played to-day. when Miss Brewster will play Miss Rundle, and Nicholson will play Webster. NEW PLYMOUTH v. HAWERA. The Hawera tennis club will send a team of six men and four ladies to play New Plymouth on their own courts on Tuesday.
