SHAKESPEARE TERCENTENARY.
A MELBOURNE MEMORIAL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, March 11. A meeting of citizens, at which Lord Denman and Sir Arthur Stanley, the Governor, were present, was held to initiate a movement to erect a Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Melbourne, to mark the tercentenary of his death in 1910, The estimated cost is £30,000.
