AUSTRALIANS v. SOUTHLAND. Inveicargill, Last Night. The Australians arrived in Invereargill this morning, and commenced their match against Southland in the afternoon on a beautiful wicket, and before an attendance of close on 1000 »cople. Southland won the toss, and went to the wickets first, but did not start too promisingly, the first five wickets failing for a total of 35 runs.
