SWIMMING.

NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Entries for the annual sports of the New Plymouth Swimming Clut> closed nominally last night, hut further entries are expected from outside clubs. The secretary (Mr. Geo. Tabor) reports good local entries. The Ilawera Gnb'a team has entered in the polo match, and the members will also compete individually jn other events. HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS. The annual swimming sports of the New Plymouth High School will take place at the Municipal Baths on Thursday afternoon. The entries total 149, of which 70 are entered in oae race. The programme is an extensive one.
